The Goodreads controversy continues, as many users disapprove of new policies that allow for deletion of posts that center on author behavior instead of the author’s works.

Simon & Schuster is offering eBooks to schools, usable by one student for one year, stating that the new format is “need[ed] to help students learn.”

Amazon updates their Kindle with a third-generation version that is lighter and has more competitive features including enterprise support.

While general reading rates among adults remain approximately the same, the percent of adults reading literature (novels, short stories, plays, and poetry) has dropped, bringing us back to the 2002 level.
