An official welcome to our Autumn 2011 intern, Julia Nollen! Fresh out of NYU’s Summer Publishing Institute, she’s holding down two other internships on top of her time with us. You can read more about this brave soul on our About page.

Also! Our very own Rachel Stark! Previously Marketing & Publicity Associate at Bancroft Press, she is now the Children’s Assistant Marketing Manager at Bloomsbury/Walker USA.

Also at Bloomsbury/Walker USA:

Derrick Kennelty-Cohen also joined  as Marketing Designer. Previously, he was at and, and Pitchfork Media. Before that he was the Communications Director at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art.

Kaitlin Mischner, previously an intern at Bloomsbury, has been hired as a full-time Marketing and Sub Rights Coordinator.

Dan Esposito is Assistant Marketing Manager in the adult division. He’s brand-new to publishing, and this will be his first position in the field.

Also on the adult end of the business, Rachel Mannheimer was promoted to Associate Editor from Assistant Editor.

Lea Beresford has joined as assistant to the publishing director and associate editor. She was previously at Random House and

 Molly Cavanaugh, previously of Chicago and Chicago University Press, has been hired as Publishing Assistant at The Experiment.

Another “Experimenter,” Jack Palmer, has been promoted to Publicity and Marketing Manager.
